Mel Bean Interiors is a nationally recognized luxury interior design studio known for layered, livable spaces and a refined yet approachable aesthetic. We are seeking a strategic and creative Marketing Manager to lead our brand presence and digital storytelling as we continue to grow.
This role is perfect for someone who loves interiors, understands visual storytelling, and wants to help shape the public voice of a growing luxury design studio.
This is a full time role responsible for shaping, capturing, and communicating the voice of our studio across all platforms. The ideal candidate understands luxury branding, has a sharp visual eye, and thrives in a collaborative, fast paced creative environment.
Position Overview
The Marketing Manager will own both the day to day execution and the long term strategy of our marketing efforts. This individual will work closely with the Owner, Director of Operations, and our PR team to ensure cohesive messaging, elevated positioning, and consistent brand presence across all channels.
This role blends creative direction, content creation, brand strategy, and growth planning. The Marketing Manager will also serve as the studio’s primary brand storyteller, capturing both project and lifestyle content that communicates the depth and value of luxury design.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the nuances of luxury branding and enjoys shaping how a design studio is perceived across editorial, digital, and lifestyle channels.
The Marketing Manager will be involved throughout the full lifecycle of our projects, including installs, photoshoots, and key project milestones, ensuring content is captured in real time and reflects the depth of our process and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Brand Storytelling
• Capture, create, edit, and publish content across all social media platforms
• Produce short form video and Reels that highlight project work, lifestyle moments, and studio culture
• Lead content shoots including project installs, behind the scenes moments, team features, and lifestyle content
• Serve as the primary storyteller for our luxury interior projects, translating design vision into compelling digital narratives
• Organize and maintain a comprehensive digital archive of photography, video, and marketing assets for easy access and future use
Marketing Strategy & Brand Growth
• Develop and manage a comprehensive marketing and content calendar in partnership with the PR team
• Collaborate with leadership to refine and elevate brand voice and long term positioning
• Support strategic growth initiatives by identifying and researching new geographic markets for brand expansion
• Develop and oversee email marketing initiatives including newsletter strategy, blog support, content creation, and performance tracking
• Partner with the Owner and Director of Operations to develop, manage, and steward the annual marketing budget
Public Relations & Partnerships
• Work closely with the studio’s PR agency to ensure cohesion across social media, editorial placements, and brand messaging
• Align marketing and social media efforts with media placements, publications, and industry features
• Assist with press and editorial requests including sourcing images, providing brand information, and coordinating deadlines
• Coordinate partnership deliverables and collaborative brand opportunities alongside the PR team
Performance & Brand Consistency
• Track performance metrics and adjust strategy to support engagement and growth goals
• Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across social media, newsletters, editorial placements, and digital platforms
• Ensure brand consistency across website, email marketing, and all marketing channels
What Success Looks Like
In the first 6 to 12 months, success in this role will include meaningful growth across social media and email marketing, strong alignment and collaboration with our PR efforts, and thoughtful support in expanding brand presence into new and existing markets. This role will play a key part in elevating the visibility, consistency, and overall positioning of Mel Bean Interiors.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or social media strategy
• Strong visual eye with an understanding of luxury interiors and elevated design aesthetics
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to articulate thoughtful, polished brand narratives
• Experience capturing and editing visual content including photography and short form video
• Experience managing marketing budgets and evaluating return on investment
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Self motivated with a strategic mindset and collaborative spirit
